Vivid Sydney is now into its eleventh year and continues to be a remarkable showcase of the artistic use of light. Running until June 15, Sydney-siders are turning out in ever-increasing numbers to see the spectacular light show. This year Los Angeles-based artist Andrew Thomas was commissioned to create ‘Austral Flora Ballet‘, a hypnotic piece that brings Australia’s botanic wonders to life on the sails of the iconic Sydney Opera House.
