Red Hands Cave walking track in the NSW Blue Mountains is a pleasing 3-4 hour circuit walk with a dip in the Jelly Bean Pool at the end as a reward for your exertions. Rated medium in difficulty, this track is accessible from the Blue Mountains visitor information centre in Glenbrook (Hammet Place) and is an easy day trip from Sydney. Aboriginal handprints, circa 1600 years old, feature around an hour into the walk with a picnic area another ten minutes further along.
