The Mount Roland Mountain Range in Tasmania comprise Mt Roland (1234m), Mt Van Dyke (1084m) and Mt Claude (1034m). This group of mountains forms a natural amphitheatre and the scene of the annual Triple Top Mountain Run, a tough 19.7km course taking in all three peaks. Mt Claude is accessible for day walkers and comprises a 25 degree incline for most of the way on a 4×4 track. Once you reach around 800m elevation, the track becomes bushland with sweeping district views and impressive rock formations.
