Kyneton has undergone an amazing transformation over the past decade years. Located 85km north-west of Melbourne, it has become a smart shopping strip and utter foodie heaven. Craft beers and good cooking are on offer at the Royal George, while numerous interesting shops line Piper Street in the old part of town. Stockroom particularly impresses with its selection of design pieces, art and clothing that would be equally at home in a major urban centre. It’s well worth dedicating a day to Piper Street as there’s so much to do, buy and taste.
