Gardens by the Bay on Marina Bay foreshore, is one of Singapore finest attractions and my favourite part of the city. It is the technical achievement of building a garden on 101 hectares of reclaimed land combined with the sense of drama you feel as you leave the tropics and enter a completely different environment. From the breathtaking Cloud Forrest, a 35-metre tall mountain with the world’s tallest indoor waterfall, to the Flower Dome, a world of perpetual spring where Mediterranean and semi-arid plants bloom under the tropical sun, to the 25-50 metre vertical garden Sky Tree Grove, Gardens by the Bay is always a joy to visit.
