Milford Sound, on New Zealand’s south island, is one of the most beautiful—and wettest—areas in the world. Book a place on one of the local boats and experience the wonder of this deep fjord. Come prepared though as with this much rainfall every year, it is almost a certainty that you will get wet. Take a rain jacket and warm clothing as temperatures are low even in summer.
