Artificer Specialty Coffee and Roastery is Shoji (ex-Mecca and Single Origin Roasters) and Dan’s (Salvage) focused brew bar on Bourke Street in Surry Hills. Featuring a matt silver Synesso espresso machine, plywood walls and a brass counter (there is a roasting machine for the back and a large glass window for the side wall to come), there is a definite feeling of professionalism about the place. As expected, the coffee hits the right notes with cold brew also available to get us through Sydney’s humid summers. Immediately sought out by Sydney’s coffee connoisseurs, this place is likely to appear in Sydney’s top ten coffee lists in the near future.
